simplest cuts possible, because fewer facets = less time.
Cutters at Crescent Gems,
on the other hand, take extra time and care to ensure that
all of your stones will be bright and lively. Round stones
receive the very demanding and complicated "Portuguese"
cut. Ovals and pears receive a "modified Portuguese"
cut. Finally, emerald shapes get barion pavilions for maximum
brilliance, and squares receive a "princess" cut.
All stones are polished with 50,000 grit diamond,and carefully
cleaned of oil and foreign matter before being packaged
and shipped to you. All rejects are returned with your finished
stones.
